Lashana Lynch stars as Izogie in historical epic film The Woman King, for TriStar Pictures and Entertainment One. Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and written by Dana Stevens, the film tells the story of Agojie, the all-female warrior unit who protected the West African kingdom of Dahomey in the 19th century.

The Woman King will be released in US cinemas 16th September, and in the UK on 7th October.
